P.S. I have attributed this to Marcus Aurelius as this was how I heard of it originally. I have since learned that the source of this particular saying is unknown, good old anonymous himself. However I have left it as is because if Marcus didn’t say it, he would have given the tone of his other writings. This serves to guide my current approach to life particularly in this epidemic of conspiracies and alternate facts.
