attachment, Buddhism, lessons

Just an old cap

We are grateful that the last remaining member of our security team is still on duty🙏 “On the middle path between the scared seriousness of childhood (Ho Hum) and the extreme imitation of my father in adulthood (Ho Ho), lies a more enlightened approach as I move into the sunset of my life.” - from my latest blog post “Ho Om” Here are the elements that I used to make my cheese chorizo beans jaffle toastie 🥰 Ahhh my favourite lunch atm. Jaffles loaded with 3 cheese grated, baked beans and chopped chorizo. Yummmm thank you @devondaledairy @rodriguezbrosretail @abbottsbakery @heinz_au I was woken by persistent meowing to alert me to a crisis. Miss Millie was nearly out of food!😿 Swipe to see the remedy🤪 My latest post is now available on stacesplace.blog. I would love to hear what you think of the book. This is what, in my ignorance, call Granma’s ivy. It was growing along the side fence when I was a kid and I have kept this going from a cutting. I love how it always has a showing of lovely delicate pink flowers. If anyone enlighten me with its proper name I would appreciate it 🙏 Cross code relations perhaps? Here we are again, Saturday arvo, footy on tv, cat on lap😺 At least I can see the game 😂 Our little maple in beautiful winter colours, thanks @stacemun 🙏💕 Waking from my afternoon nap to this. I had to wait an hour before I could get up to go to the toilet 🤪 Another stage in Millie’s progression from aloof street cat to cuddly family cat. Tomorrow is the 11th anniversary since Millie joined our family so it’s been a slow journey 😂 What I see when I open my eyes after meditation; Miss Millie waiting for pat-a-cat, the next item on her daily agenda. See my blog post for an explanation of pat-a-cat on stacesplace.blog Miss Millie’s new found cuddling sometimes gets very up close and personal making it difficult to follow the footy on tv 🥰 Millie has taken over the lap position from the beloved departed Wuppies 💕😢 It’s a sure sign that the temperature is falling. Miss Millie has taken to sleeping her cat cave again. Must be autumn 🤪
